We are beyond excited for the upcoming school year! The PTO is looking forward to continuing - and expanding - our support for students, parents, and teachers in thoughtful and creative ways.  We need YOU now more than ever as our years at WAS are winding down.

Here are just a few of the ways the PTO supports our school:

- Direct support to teachers for classroom supplies
- Coordinate Room Parents and other volunteers
- Annual scholarships awarded to WAS alumni
- Support school communications among parents

Special events planned for 23/24 by the PTO:

- Break the Ice Social

- Teacher Appreciation Luncheon

- Kids Night Out

- Back to School Movie Night

- Trunk or Treat

- Holiday Shoppe

- Field Day (along with a SUPER 50/50 to support school t-shirts!)

Membership dues are an important part of our annual budget.  Because of our strong membership, we do not often ask members to actively sell anything or do much direct fundraising other than supporting events that are typically fun for the whole family!

Upcoming Events:

• MEGA 50/50 Raffle - Drawing May 10, 2024
  
• KIDS NIGHT OUT MAY 17
  Kids Night Out events 5/17, and 6/7. As always they are a drop off event. Staffed by PTO members and WAS staff members. From 6:30-9PM in the multi-purpose room.
  
  
• PTO Meetings: 7 PM in the WAS Library.
